Bible,Quotes &The Good News

Great care and conviction is taken in the compilation of Special verses, quotes, and THE GOOD NEWS! This collection will be a work in progress as special messages are added.

Isaiah 40: 31 *But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not grow faint. (NIV)

when we hope in the Lord, we expect that his promises of strength will help to rise above difficulties.

Lamenatations  3:22 * Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. (NIV)

Jeremiah saw one ray of hope in all the sin and sorrow surrounding him.God’s Love and mercy are greater than any sin, and he promises forgiveness.

“My home is in heaven, i’m just passing through this world.” ~Billy Graham.

” Discerning God’s calling is more a relationship thana route, more journey than destination…”  ~Levi Lusco~

“Suffering isn’t an obstacle to being used by God. It s an opportunity to be used like never before.” ~Levi Lusco~

I like this quote, as someone who is disabled. Flip it, we may be suffering, but turn it over in you head, see the other side of it. How CAN we be used, is there a different way or option to serve. For me? Well, it became this blog and pages , I saw that I could still serve, by sharing the GOOD NEWS and share topics in my own way.

Jeremiah 29:11* “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, ” plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (NIV)

God encourages us to move ahead, he believes we can do the task he has given and will be with us all the way. God is that kind of king and leader, he knows the future, and his plans for us are good and full of hope. God, who knows the future and will reveal the plans he has for us and go with us on our journey to fulfill his mission, this gives us multitudes of hope. Yes, we may, it’s almost certain, face hardships, pain, suffering, and even grief. BUT, God will see us through to a glorious conclusion of our journey.

What a glorious and merciful God we have, Who wraps us up in his abundant  unfailing,  unconditional Love. Imagine, being loved beyond comprehension, by someone who died in order to get to know us, and has open arms and invites us to get to know him on a personal, intimate, unique tailored just for us, one on one scale. HE’s the greatest LOVE story of all. He’s not an option but a necessity.

We’re on a mission for the one true KING! That’s BIG! I feel so very humble and honored at the same time, He CHOSE ME!

John 15:16* ” You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit- fruit that will last- and so that whatever you ask in my name the father will give you.” (NIV)  Jesus made the first choice, we make the next. To either accept or reject his invitation to come live with him forever. If he didn’t make the first choice, we wouldn’t have any choice at all.

Deuteronomy 4:2* For you are a people holy to the Lord you God. Out of all the peoples on the face of the earth, the Lord has chosen you to be his treasured possession. (NIV)
