Can You See The Wind?

Person: God where are you?

(silence)

Person: God where are you, are you really there?

God: Can you see the wind?

Person: It’s blowing, I’m cold.

God: Can you see the wind?

Person: I see the leaves blowing.

God: Can you see the wind?

Person: I see the trees swaying back and forth.

God: One more time child, Can you see the wind?

Person: No.

So you see, seeing is not believing. Through his Word God teaches us how to believe him. The Word is God breathed, and is interconnected from beginning to end. He also teaches us that real faith comes from hearing and learning the Word of Christ.

” The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Deuteronomy 31:8 (NIV)

” So do not fear, for I am with you;do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Isaiah 41;10 (NIV)

While there was nothingness, Heaven was busy. God was stirring, making plans, writing our stories. He chose us before time. He had the answers before we had the problem. It is written that we will go through tough times, however, I believe, those tough times can be God calling us to draw nearer to him.

Okay, back to the wind. Even though we can’t see God, he’s behind the scenes working on our behalf. sometimes we may think he’s silent. But, he is very alive and active in his Word, the Bible is our life instruction manual. He’s very much alive and active in our world and lives. Seek God and you shall find.

Blessings Friends… ~Paula~
