~~ Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience. ~~
kindness, it’s contagious. We are led by the example of Jesus. It’s so simple. I often think to myself, you never know what kind of day someone is having, and kind smile or a hello, how are you doing could make someone’s day. I love elderly people, I always talk to them when I’m at the store, I figure sometimes I may be their only friendly contact for their day. Imagine making someone’s day , when they might otherwise be lonely. I am also one to enjoy listening to our older generations stories, over, and over again.
oh, the may ways to be kind. We can pay it forward for someone’s coffee, check on our elderly neighbors, shovel snow for someone, offer to help someone carry groceries, listen to music or watch a movie with a special needs friend, donate clothing, donate our time. If you are an adult child, I’m sure your mom and or dad would love a quick call from you, just to hear your voice, just to hear a quick ” I’m just checking in, I’m fine”.
At any rate, I’m thinking of all of you as I’m writing. Hello friends, i’m just checking in, I hope all is well with you and yours?
